本書是一部英文版的微分幾何專著，中文書名可譯為《強子的芬斯勒幾何和呂拉幾何（宇宙學方面）：強子結構的芬斯勒幾何和呂拉幾何（拓撲缺陷）》。 本書介紹一個稱為強子的亞原子粒子擴展結構的芬斯勒空間，以此來發展其內部對稱性。還介紹了呂拉幾何的解釋性說明，它是對黎曼幾何的一種修正，將度規函數引入到少結構流形中。此類說明無法以任何其他形式使用。在與外爾幾何非常相似的呂拉幾何標架中，我們討論了拓撲缺陷的某些物理特徵，例如疇壁、宇宙弦、單極、由假定的宇宙大爆炸附近的早期宇宙中的相變產生的紋理。 本書既可以當作專著來研讀，也可以當作大學生的課外讀物。
