內容簡介

在第1章中，發展了用來研究η不變數的分析學。第2章中，應用η不變數去研究K理論。在第3章中，應用η不變數和K理論去研究等變（下）配邊。第4章是本版中新加的。在這章中，當基本群是一個容許正標量曲率度量的球面空間時，我們可以應用前三章的結果去檢驗在旋量的背景下的相關結果，可以將這個問題簡化為等變（下）配邊中的問題，隨後應用K理論，這可以使用η不變數來解決。 我們一直強調K理論和等變（下）配邊中的分析方法；因此，許多純拓撲方法要麼沒有出現在本書中，要麼只得到很少的關注。第5章給出了一些例子和表格。
