內容簡介

在本書中，作者描述了斯圖克爾伯格、霍維茨和皮隆理論，該理論為多體問題的討論提供了一個全面的、經典的和量子力學相對論的協變數框架。該理論的本質特徵是愛因斯坦的時間t，即在慣性實驗室的標準通用時鐘上測量的事件到達時間，也對應于麥克斯韋方程中出現的變數t，其被認為是一個可觀察量。事件發生的時間t是主題，還有事件x的位置，其根據是與牛頓假設時間相對應的通用演化參數τ的運動方程。這個參數的廣泛性使我們可以為相對論多體系統編寫經典動力學和量子動力學方程。在這個框架中，還發展了相應的相對論明顯的協變數子場論。

作者簡介

勞倫斯·P 霍維茨，以色列人，曾在紐約大學工程學院學習工程物理學，然後去哈佛大學學習，1957年獲得哈佛大學博士學位，在成為特拉維夫大學的正式教授之前，他曾在IBM Watson研究實驗室、熱那亞大學和歐洲核子研究委員會(CERN)工作，他目前是特拉維夫大學、巴伊蘭大學和阿里爾大學的名譽教授。
