內容簡介

英語口語的流利表達得益於語塊的整體產出，但對成人學習者而言，語塊整體產出理論主要基於主觀印象，有必要進行大規模實證研究。為此，本書採用學習者語料庫研究方法，詳細比較對比學術英語學習者與母語者的口語語塊產出與停頓出現頻率、位置的關係。本書第一章簡要介紹研究背景、理論依據、研究目的與設計。第二章重點討論英語口語流利表達的內涵、內容及評價標準。第三章深入探討口語語塊的定義特徵。第四章論證學習者語料庫研究與中介語對比研究的理論根據、優劣勢、研究態勢。第五章詳盡闡述本書所研究的學術英語口語語料庫「研討課語料庫」（the DSS Corpus）與參照語料庫「微密歇根學術英語口語語料庫」（the MiniM Corpus）的建設。第六章論證基於口語語料庫的語塊整體產出研究所需變數及其限定標準，簡要介紹本研究採用的語料庫檢索軟體「詞匠（Word Smith Tools）」的詞表和檢索功能。第七章詳細分析與討論介詞短語語塊、主謂語塊等其他詞素的組合語塊的內部停頓模式。第八章進一步分析與討論五種主要類型語塊的產出與停頓模式。第九章為研究總結。
