本書是一本外國人在中國的故事集，作者是55位外國友人，他們來自五大洲20多個國家和地區，因為不同的因緣際會而來到中國。書中講述了他們在中國學習、工作、生活、旅行中發生的各種「趣事」「囧事」，記錄了他們初到華夏大地的心路歷程，從新奇、茫然到文化衝撞，從克服差異到尋找內蘊，以及他們如何對待這些體驗、獲得經驗並安居樂業的過程。他們在中國有著不同的身份，有的是學生，有的是廚師，有的是教師他們豐富的生活背景，成就了本書「看中國」的豐富視角。

作者簡介

韋忠和，廈門精藝達翻譯服務有限公司創始人兼總經理。碩士畢業於廈門大學外文系，曾從事外貿、翻譯、駐美代表、企業管理等工作。2000年創辦福建省第一家翻譯公司——廈門精藝達翻譯服務有限公司。現任中國翻譯協會理事、翻譯服務委員會副主任，廈門翻譯協會會長，全國翻譯專業學位研究生教育認證導師，有《世界上的升船機》《如何開辦和經營自己的公司》《魅力廈門》（合譯）、《領導力原則》《我不見外：老潘的中國來信》等多部譯著。
