Preface
Engineering surveying is a basic course for civil engineering， urban underground space engineering， water conservancy engineering， transportation engineering and other engineering majors， and it is also a course with high requirements for students』 practical ability With the internationalization development goal of China』s higher education and the steady progress of national strategies and initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative， the education of foreign students has also developed at an unprecedented speed in China， and the number of foreign students enrolled in civil engineering is also increasing， which also puts forward higher requirements for the teaching of engineering surveying There is also an urgent need for support from English textbooks that integrate Chinese culture and reflect the latest progress of the subject
