本教材《房屋建築鋼結構設計》是《鋼結構基本原理》的後續部分,已有鋼結構基本知識的基礎上,這本教材將讀者引嚮應用階段,掌握幾類典型建築鋼結構的設計方法並從中領會結構設計的一般要求。本教材與規範聯繫密切,向留學生介紹中國主要鋼結構設計規範(規程)的特點。本教材共六章。第一章為平台鋼結構。第二章為輕型門式剛架結構,這是一種應用最廣的建築鋼結構,非常適合發展中國家(我國從事外事基建的主要地方),授課時應作為留學生和中外合作雙語授課班重點做比較全面的論述和講解。第三章為中重型工業廠房,其中的角鋼屋架和吊車梁的設計方法具有普遍性。第四章為主要介紹了網架和網殼結構。第五章為多高層建築鋼結構。第六章為近年來在管桁架和單層網殼結構中廣泛應用的鋼管相貫節點。
