潮溝系統和鹽沼的發展是水動力、泥沙輸送、河床演化和植被生長發育等因素間相互作用的結果,潮溝系統會影響周邊鹽沿植被的生長過程,與此同時,也受到鹽沼植被擴張的影響。因此有必要對潮溝與鹽沼的耗合演化規律進行整體分析和模擬。在本書的研究中,通過考慮植被引起的水流阻力和潮間帶環境典型的乾濕過程,對現有的潮灘形態動力學模型進行了適當的改進。基於新模型,本書分析了植被和初始河床地形對小尺度潮灘的形態動力學影響,並討論了潮溝系統排水效率的影響因素。
